RideAfrrik is a technology and digital mobility platform that connects riders with drivers and facilitates access to transportation services.

By accessing, registering for, or using RideAfrrik, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service.

7. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers are responsible for providing accurate information relating to themselves, their vehicles and their ability to provide transportation services.

Drivers must interact with riders professionally and must not engage in unlawful, unsafe, abusive or discriminatory conduct.

8. Rides and Transportation Services

RideAfrrik provides technology that may facilitate connections between riders and drivers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, RideAfrrik does not itself provide the transportation service performed by an independent driver.

Ride requests, driver acceptance, pickup, transportation and completion of a ride may depend on circumstances including availability, location, traffic, technology and other factors.

9. Fares and Pricing

Applicable fares or estimated prices may be presented through the RideAfrrik platform before or during a ride.

Pricing may depend on factors such as the requested service, route, distance, time, availability or other applicable pricing factors.

Displayed prices may be estimates where RideAfrrik identifies them as estimates. The final amount may differ where circumstances affecting the ride change.

10. Payments

Where payment is required for a RideAfrrik service, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize applicable charges.

You are responsible for ensuring that payment information associated with your account is accurate and authorized for use.

You are responsible for content you submit and must ensure that you have the necessary rights to submit it.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, invasive of another person's privacy or otherwise inappropriate.

16. Licence to Use Submitted Content

By submitting content to RideAfrrik, you grant RideAfrrik a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, distribute and otherwise process that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, promote or provide the services.

You retain ownership of content that you submit, subject to the rights granted under these Terms.

17. Intellectual Property

RideAfrrik and its associated content, branding, designs, software, interfaces, trademarks, logos and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except where expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer or otherwise exploit RideAfrrik's intellectual property without appropriate authorization.

20. Availability of the Services

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RideAfrrik will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or similar losses arising from your use of the platform or services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

24. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of RideAfrrik, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

25. Suspension and Termination

RideAfrrik may restrict, suspend or terminate access to an account or the platform where reasonably necessary, including where a user violates these Terms, engages in unlawful conduct, creates safety concerns, abuses the platform or presents a risk to other users or RideAfrrik.

You may stop using RideAfrrik at any time, subject to any outstanding obligations that continue after termination.

26. Reporting Safety, Abuse or Other Violations

If you experience or become aware of conduct involving safety concerns, abuse, harassment, fraud, unlawful activity or other serious violations, please report the matter to RideAfrrik through the appropriate support channel.

Reports should contain accurate information and enough detail to help RideAfrrik understand and review the issue.
